Donate jars of peanut butter and cans of tuna fish

Rodey Ram In honor of the Inauguration of Michael Rao, Ph.D., as president of Virginia Commonwealth University and reflective of our commitment to the community, VCU aims to donate 100,000 pounds of food for the Richmond community. The universitywide food drive, taking place Oct. 10-17, will help FeedMore provide protein for half a million meals in the Richmond area.

We invite students, faculty and staff to donate jars of peanut butter and cans of tuna fish — increasingly expensive items that are in high demand.

Food collection bins will be available at designated locations listed below. To find out how your unit can organize its own collection, please contact engage@vcu.edu.
